Children love a hot tub’s warm bubbling water at any time, and they especially love inviting their friends to join them. So as the weather cools in late summer into early fall, and pools are being closed down, the calendar is ideal for hot tub children’s parties.
For those who don’t own a hot tub and are considering a rental spa, if you live in Best Hot Tubs service areas (Catskills/NYMetro), you’ll find we not only sell premium Bullfrog Spas, but you can rent an above-ground portable spa at each of our three showrooms (Westbury/Farmingdale/Windham, NY), have us deliver it, set it up, and pick it up. In fact, delivery/pickup is included in the price.
Our rental hot tubs seat up to 7, boast hydrotherapy jets, and hook up easily to a standard exterior GFCI outlet. As for hot tub seating size, for parties, it is just fine that portable spas do not seat a crowd all at once. Since it is advisable to take regular breaks from any hot water use, this allows for convenient rotations of party guests.

In addition to checking water temperature, constant adult supervision is essential when it comes to kids and hot tubs. In particular, monitor the time the children spend in the spa. An adult or two may even want to join them, particularly if some of the children are very young.

Additional note regarding Water Temperature: Children under 5 should not be in a hot tub, unless the water has not been heated. Also monitor the spa water temperature for children over 5. It is always important to check your spa manufacturer’s guidelines as they relate to hot tub/spa use by children to be certain.
