They had lost an hour sleep last Saturday night. Yet here they were on Sunday, lining up at Long Island Hot Tub’s showroom to purchase a new hot tub.

It seems that as Spring approaches, when we are most ready to tackle home projects, eagerness for ways to spend time outdoors springs forward with our clocks.

So if your “let’s get outdoors’ clock” is ticking, here’s some ideas to help you make plans — from the detailed and custom to the more simple and basic.

Special Hot Tub Installation (Long Island/NY):

Special Hot Tub Installation (Long Island/NY):

We worked with The Deck and Patio Company to harmoniously incorporate one of our Bullfrog Spas into a setting that included a pre-existing pool. The spa was set between a raised and lower patio. We added boulders and plantings to give it an attractive “set-in-garden” appearance.

Adding Spa to Gunite Pool (Long Island/NY):

Adding Spa to Gunite Pool (Long Island/NY):

These clients wanted to add a portable spa to their Gunite pool. Our design/build team created the spa’s stone surround and matching accent/privacy wall with sheer-descent waterfall, and incorporated a romantic fire bowl water feature. The client says it was as if the spa had been part of the pool and patio from the beginning.

Spa Set Against Multi-Level Deck (Long Island/NY):

Spa Set Against Multi-Level Deck (Long Island/NY):

These clients wanted a simple portable hot tub to go with a new pergola and deck. Working with the Deck and Patio Company, we set the hot tub under the pergola, between two of the deck’s levels. The Bullfrog Spa looks built in, but it is simply sitting on the ground.

Hot Tub Deck (Long Island/NY):

Even though there wasn’t room for a pool in their yard, these clients weren’t about to sacrifice having a water feature. Their 20’ deep property also had privacy issues, so when we set the hot tub into the new deck, we also planted 9-10’ Leyland Cypress trees against the fence. These grow quickly. If left untrimmed, they will fill the gap between them in one growing season.

Portable Bullfrog Spa (Long Island/NY):

To enjoy the outdoors, it doesn’t require more than a place to sit and perhaps dine and a water feature you will enjoy even when it’s cold. This handsome spa sits proudly on the ground; a natural gas campfire adds warmth and charm when dining al fresco.

Portable Spa with Custom Look (Long Island/NY):

Your spa doesn’t have to be a custom in-ground spa to appear like one. We fitted a BullfrogSpa in the ground next to a peaceful pond that one of our collaborative teams designed and built. If the peaceful pond doesn’t relax you, the hot tub certainly will. And the two working together? Nirvana.
