The high demand for hot tubs, which began when the pandemic hit in 2020, did not let up in 2021, say experts.
And now that delivery times for many brands are once again measured in days, and not in weeks or months, how can you best sift through all the information regarding make, size, style, options and pricing?
In its recent overview on How to Shop for a Hot Tub, The New York Times reminded buyers that a hot tub is a major purchase, and if shopped well, should last you about 15 years. And just like a new car, there’s lots to consider. For these reasons, the article went on to say:
“…we strongly recommend working with a local, specialized hot tub dealership, rather than ordering a hot tub from one of the major retailers that carry them (Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Costco among them).”
Our own Bill Renter couldn’t agree more with The New York Times. “At our three showrooms [Westbury, Farmingdale, Windham, NY], Best Hot Tubs staff know our local landscape, codes, hot tub operational costs, etc. and how to help someone pick the best model for their home. We’re also available should anything go wrong,” says Bill.
Take, for example, the following post made a while back on one of our Facebook pages.
“I purchased a spa from a big box store and it came with a manufacturer defect that caused a leak. After multiple calls to [the manufacturer], they wanted me to pay “travel fees” to an authorized repair person that lived 40 miles away, to make the repair.
I called Bill from Best Hot Tubs and he made the repair and took care of the bill directly with CalSpa. There was no blaming that company or complaints about anything. He came when he said he would and took care of everything!!!
I buy my chemicals and all of my spa necessities from Best Hot Tubs. I also love the @ease system they sold me. Next spa I purchase will be through them and not a big box store.”
“We’re glad to have made a convert of Eric for any future hot tub purchases,” says Bill. “One of the reasons I went into this business was because I had discovered a truly well-made product, Bullfrog Spas. But we are equally proud of the Strong Spas we sell. As a local business in our three communities, quality, durability and excellence is what we want to be known for.”
Here is another Happy Best Hot Tubs (Westbury showroom) customer! Standing next to his newly delivered Best Hot Tubs spa!
This photo of a mom and her two kids pretty much says it all sitting in their just installed Bullfrog Spa.
Deliveries and set ups of a new hot tub puts everyone in a fun mood!
This is why we love our work. Happy clients!
