It can be easier than you think to host a hair-raising Halloween hot tub party. Today we’ve curated some fun online ideas — and included some of our own, Munster-friendly, not too complicated ideas.
Overall Basics: You’ll want very clean water. Go creepy or sophisticated. You can go small (one home hot tub) or big (rent a bunch).
So get ready, and let’s Boo-gie!
Tip # 1: Clean Hot Tub(s). Whether your hot tub party will involve your own personal spa, a rental, or several of those, you’ll want clean water.
Clean Hot Tub Water:
You want everything at your Halloween hot tub party to be frightening — except the water. That you want pristine.

Tip # 2: Decorations/Scents.
—In addition to black cats, witches hats, or ghoulish creatures, consider the Fair-Lane Hotel. They added plastic body parts as floaters in their spa for Halloween (bottom left below).
—You can spice up the hot tub water with spa-safe scents —the ones pictured below (top left) are pumpkin-spiced from inSPArations.
—Lawn signs like “Blood Donors Needed…See The Count Inside” would be fun and probably easy to print from your home printer.
—If you happen to love Bullfrog Spas as much as we do, carve some pumpkins in the shape of a JetPak massage, like this one below from Bullfrog.

Tip # 3 Food: To ensure you have fun with your guests, throw a simple Fall Soup Halloween Party. Soups can be made ahead. Plus a soup buffet is easy: terrines of soup(s) may be kept warm in crock pots, ladles, bowls or cups, crusty breads and crackers, and smaller bowls of garnishes like sour cream or aioli etc. Add a cheese board. Tip # 4 Halloween Party Drinks: Rather than make someone act all night as bartender, make ahead some Halloween punch or warm up apple cider. If you choose a punch flavor that turns a deep red…you can fill blood-infusion bags for parties and string them up on a rope around your patio or even kitchen island etc.

Tip # 6 Hot Tub Cinema: If you want to make a real Monster Mash this Halloween, rent additional spas (see our contact info under Tip # 1 just above) for a ghoulish movie night. You’ll have hot tubs instead of seats. Movie ideas: Hocus Pocus, The Addams Family, Halloween, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas — or, again, The Rocky Horror Show or Little House of Horrors. Choose your favorite.
