In treasure maps of old, X marked the spot where the treasure seeker would find what he was looking for.

In much the same way, Bullfrog’s new 2016 spa — the X Series — marks the ‘sweet’ spot in new hot tub models: quality technology and comfort at a more affordable price.

“Our new X Series is a great option for the spa buyer interested in high-end reliability and comfort at a budget price point,” says Bullfrog’s online marketing manager, Jake Ricks. “New for 2016, the X Series do not have the JetPak Therapy System feature of interchangeable jets; however, they are built with all the quality, comfort and durability for which Bullfrog Spas are known.”

Long Island Hot Tub’s outdoor living expert, Bill Renter, fell in love with the new series when it was unveiled last November at the Pool and Spa Expo Conference in Las Vegas.

“The X brings most of Bullfrog’s technology to an affordable traditional spa,” says Bill. “It includes 80% less plumbing than every other hot tub line; ‘best-in-class’ high energy efficiency; lots of options for LED lighted hydrotherapy jets; different color choices from the A and R Series for both the cabinets and interiors; wood-free base and frame and the same quality industrial pumps and electrical components as all Bullfrog Spas models.”

Bill adds that the X Series configurations are smaller than Bullfrog’s A&R series but have maintained the same level of comfort — a terrific achievement.

“Anyone who is interested in a good quality entry-level hot tub, with many of Bullfrog’s technical advances — and at a price point under $10,000 — will, indeed, believe they have found gold,” says Bill.

Bullfrog’s new X Series got a lot of attention at the 2015 Pool and Spa Conference. For good reason. “The X Series spas compare quite favorably with other mid-to-high-end spas in quality, therapy, and technology, but in a very budget-friendly price range,” adds Jake.
