Just two hours from NYC, Windham, NY is an easy get-away over Columbus Day weekend (Saturday, October 10 through Monday, October 12). The whole area, including its namesake mountain, is reveling in Fall color and outdoor activities.
Along with Windham’s serene beauty, the local Chamber of Commerce is hosting its yearly festival — Autumn Affair — with “live music, craft vendors, food court, kids activities” on two key Columbus weekend days: October 10 & 11.
Autumn Affair
Long Island Hot Tub’s sister company — Hunter-Windham Hot Tubs — will be joining other Windham Chamber of Commerce members in showcasing her wares. This year’s 21st Autumn Affair will be held in the heart of the Village on Main Street. Our Main Street booth will have one of our local showroom’s Bullfrog Spas. Visitors are even welcome to take a “wet test.” Note: To enjoy the full experience of our portable hot tub, don’t forget your bathing suit and a towel.
Fall Foliage
Foliage in Windham is expected to be near peak over the weekend, with an average high temperate that just kisses the 60s. Evenings are something else again. Falling to an average of 33, it gets a bit chilly after the sun sets. Which is where hot tubs come in. What better weather to showcase the joys of a bubbling and soothing spa than brisk nights — that is, if you are fortunate and your lodging has a hot tub to soothe any chilled bones and muscles!

Beyond visiting our booth and Windham being a great place to de-compress and relax, you can also: bring along your mountain or road bikes (or rent one); take the mountain’s thrilling Sky Ride and chair lift for a spectacular view; enjoy Windham’s walking paths, sample local food, listen to the live music.
