As every parent and busy professional knows, taking a grown-up “time out”  is no punishment — if that time out offers precious moments alone with your thoughts.

Indeed, such cherished escapes are so important to one’s well-being that perhaps you’ve already carved out a private oasis to do just that. Maybe you close your bathroom door and turn on the tub Jacuzzi. Possibly you have a secluded nook that you’ve fitted with a comfy pillow, footstool and reading lamp.

Of course, Long Island Hot Tub knows that there are many who take their time outs in the bubbling waters of their hot tub. And like our blog headline implies: these hot tubers really want to sit in one of its corners… and lean back into a favorite pulsating massage jet.

However! In addition to a a quiet designated space, when submerged in a hot tub, you also get practical hydrotherapy — a way of reducing stress by relaxing and loosening muscles. So much so, it’s common for people to take a time out after exercising.

Other Ideas

—  Hot tubbing is also a great place to do some low-impact exercising.

—  There’s even books devoted to doing yoga in a hot tub.

—  If you leave your exercising or time out until the end of the evening, spa soaks are also touted as a great way to help you sleep.
