Many homeowners look for ways to enjoy the outdoors, in an attractive setting, without breaking the bank. And to most, the ultimate picturesque yard includes some sort of water feature.
As an age-old way to detoxify and relax, the easy-to-install portable spa meets all those needs. Hot tubs are easily integrated into their surroundings, and they create an inviting – and invigorating – retreat.
The temperature of a hot tub is easily regulated, so it can be enjoyed all year long. Plus hot tubs are much easier to maintain than a swimming pool, for example. Yet is still an attractive water feature.
Even if someone wants a spa to be just the beginning of a larger ongoing project that will include, say, a pond feature, or swimming pool, a portable hot tub can be the perfect way to begin. You can have outside enjoyment, without much waiting or drama.
Making It Picturesque
Bullfrog Spas, we are happy to say, are attractive on their own. But in order to create a picturesque backyard, your portable hot tub can be integrated into its surroundings through a custom installation.
Today we’re focusing on two “set-in-garden” installations that Best Hot Tubs was involved with.
Photos of the first project takes you from hot tub delivery through the completed installation. You’ll see how a simple hot tub can become a main focal point of a picturesque backyard.
Hot Tub Deliveries: First the delivery. The client’s new hot tub was installed at the edge of their patio before customizing the installation began. Note, there is an existing attractive flower bed just to the right making this a great place to position it.
Hot Tub Installation: Next, in order to offer more natural charm from the handsome patio into the spa, moss rock steps replaced the ones that came with the delivery. Boulders were also brought in, plus soil and plants.
Hot Tub Hydrotherapy: Lastly, the complete set-in-garden look includes river rock along with additional colorful plants. Note: In this close up shot of the installation, you can see Bullfrog Spas’ interchangeable massage seats/jets called JetPaks — well known for providing some of the best massages available in a portable spa.
Hot Tub Installation: For this second “set-in-garden” installation, the backyard was already picturesque — however, until they added the hot tub, their yard was without a much desired water feature. Also note how the choices for this custom installation works perfectly with the existing landscaping.
Hot Tub Set-in-Garden Installation: Here is a close up of the second project. One reason for choosing this type of custom installation is the ability to add one’s favorite flowers. In the right season, the flowers add sweet-smelling aroma therapy to the already wonderful hydrotherapy of a Bullfrog Spa.
Additional Note:
If you think you might be moving at some point, with an easy custom installation like this, all you need do is drain your portable hot tub/spa. It can then be lifted up and taken to another location, along with any boulders and plantings.
