Great news for Windham, NY, residents! This Memorial weekend, Best Hot Tubs (formerly Long Island Hot Tub) will relocate to its new prime location on Windham’s Main Street — just in time to kick off summer with great discounts on Bullfrog Spas.
“We started out in a strip store location,” says Bill Renter, owner of Best Hot Tubs. “As we learned the Windham area, we decided it was time to move to the town’s charming Main Street and we were fortunate to find space in a gorgeous Victorian house, perfectly situated in the heart of town.”
The Victorian building is more than beautiful to look at, says Renter. It is listed on the Greene County Historical Register. Windham’s Town Historian, Patricia Morrow, says that “according to the 1867 Atlas of Greene Country, New York,” records date the property at least as far back as 1867.
The building’s handsome architecture allows for generous interior space, adds Renter, and it also boasts beautiful wood floors. Plus its expansive porch has room for showcasing our hot tubs, along with fire pits and outdoor furniture.
“Downtown Windham is perfect for shopping,” he says. “Weather reports suggest it may rain from time to time over Memorial weekend, so visitors can take refuge on our porch, if there’s a sudden downpour. Plus, if they have a bathing suit, they can enjoy a wet test in one of our hot tubs.”
Over the summer, Best Hot Tubs’ prime location will be front and center for events hosted by The Windham Chamber of Commerce, which kick off on July 4th.
“The local band has traditionally played on our building’s front porch during such events, and we are going to work with them to help make each holiday weekend special,” says Renter. “Over the summer, we’ll also be upgrading the property’s landscaping. We’ll be adding a bluestone patio with bistro tables and shade umbrellas, plus a large koi pond with a bridge and stepping stones going over it. These crossings will lead to other nicely landscaped areas. We’ll also have some comfortable Outdoor Great Room furniture products for seating, etc.”
Renter envisions the newly landscaped lawn will be an enticing to those visiting Main Street as a place to stop to have their lunch, or simply rest and enjoy the natural beauty.
