The calm before the crowds.

The calm before the crowds.

Best Hot Tubs recently participated in three local community events.

Pictured here is our company’s owner, Bill Renter, relaxing in the early morning hours as the booth team awaited the crowds in Oyster Bay.

“Coming together in the crisp air, still free of heavy clothing, though perhaps no longer in shorts and T-shirts, it really was fun getting together as a community,” says Bill. “We were so glad Best Hot Tubs had an opportunity to participate in these three festivals in the past few weeks.”

Sponsored by the Huntington Chamber of Commerce, Heckscher Park, Huntington, NY

Sharing our booth with our good friends at The Deck and Patio Company, Best Hot Tubs showcased several outdoor living ideas perfect for this time of year: two operating Bullfrog Spas hot tubs, and fire tables (with lots of marshmallows for roasting).

“The outdoor fire tables we brought were modern and sleek,” says Best Hot Tubs owner, Bill Renter. “Although we offer lots of shapes and sizes, these were rectangular or “linear” in design, which are very popular today.

“When you consider that the Long Island weather over Columbus Day weekend didn’t cooperate, you can be sure that these fire pits, as well as our steamy hot tubs and booth tents were very welcome to festival-goers.”

Sponsored by Windham Chamber of Commerce, Main St., Windham, NY

Along with Windham’s breathtaking beauty to enjoy, the local Chamber of Commerce hosted its yearly festival, Autumn Affair, with live music, craft vendors, food court, and kids activities over Columbus Day weekend.

“This event has become a great opportunity for our showroom to participate in local activities,” says Bill Renter, owner of Best Hot Tubs. “We recently moved to a new location on Main St. and were able to display our spas and fire pits right on our own porch and property. In fact, this year’s vendor display was the best we ever did for the Autumn Affair. It was full of color and inviting to the people packing the streets.”

“Bill is so right. Our fire pits certainly provided a cozy warmth to the chilly fall day,” adds Anita Marten, Manager of Best Hot Tubs showroom (Windham). “Many were happy to gather on our doorsteps and lawn to get warm while enquiring about the hot tubs and fire pits.”

Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Oyster Bay

This past weekend, Best Hot Tubs participated again in one of the largest fall events in New York. With over 150,000 attendees, Oyster Festival vendors like Best Hot Tubs were visited with huge crowds as the day wore on.

“In fact, a half hour before start time, we had people already coming to our booth,” says Best Hot Tubs Westbury showroom Manager, Bryan Kelly. “Yet despite the massive crowds, and not having a moment to take a break all day, we were so glad to participate. The event is put on by the Rotary Club’s charitable arm, the “Oyster Bay Charitable Fund” to raise money in support of local community organizations.”

Oysters, of course, were on full display at this event: on the half shell, fried, etc. And some of these vendors experienced what we did: festival-goers coming early, and waiting in line all day patiently while food vendors shucked as fast as they could.

“The Rotary refers to their event as ‘Fun Raising’ and we couldn’t agree more with that description,” adds Bryan. “We were literally engaged in conversations non stop both days and people at our booth were in a great mood, asking questions, admiring our hot tubs, and fascinated by our fire pits.”
